Intro to Sketch Writing

Do you love sketch shows like I Think You Should Leave and Key & Peele and want to start writing your own sketches? Have hopes of writing for SNL someday? Whether you have experience already writing sketches, or doing improv, or even just like to write jokes, this class will help you write sketches with a focus and with a group.
Class Structure: Over the course of 8 weeks (2 hours a week) we'll write up 5 scripts that you can use as you'd like, for the stage or recorded for video or podcasts. We'll work on 5 different types of sketches - Character, Parody, Political/Social Commentary, Fish Out Of Water, and Absurd.
